Our Kyokushin Karate Club is a part of the International Karate organization and the Kyokushinkai follow the karate way of building character and training the mind and body to contribute to society.

Kyokushin Karate is a way of life, a way of living, a lifestyle. Bushido is a code of conduct, where discipline and moral values are of utmost importance, a total commitment. Kyokushin Karate is also a total commitment, discipline, respect, honor and daily manners are all a part of Kyokushin. Living a good life and conforming with morals and principles is the way of Kyokushin Karate.

Sosai Mas Oyama, 10th degree blackbelt (dan)
is the founder of Kyokushin Karate. In 1952 Oyama introduced karate to North America. It has grown to become one of the worlds largest karate organizations with over 12 million members worldwide. Popularized by Mas Oyamas many feats including fighting live bulls, fighting 300 consecutive full contact bouts over three days and emerging undefeated every time from a series of all comers from across the globe.
Masutatsu Oyama is regarded today, as a modern day hero.
